Hmm, okay, it’s experimental, I don’t know how it will turn out but that’s all part of the fun. Ten individuals in Greenhill in Bonnybridge, Scotland, creating a collaborative community learning project using technologies they already own (it’s about extending the capabilities of mobile phones, mp3 players, digital cameras, etc.) as well as using software freely available on the Internet.

All with the aim of capturing the area, what it’s about, who lives here, what the issues are, basically how we can interact with the area we live in, create meaning from it, ground ourselves in our location, create some kind of cool urban learning theory and practice…

I’ll let you know. It all starts with Habermas really……..his critical theory in terms of society…..maybe a bit of Mezirow’s perspective transformation, and Blumer’s symbolic interactionism. It’s a democratic project. I’m interested in sparking interaction and helping to sustain it.
